The role

As a .NET web developer at Uselab, you will be responsible for the conceptualisation and production of technical solutions. You will be responsible primarily for developing server-side code for websites or online applications. This will often entail complex challenges rather than simple, straightforward projects; the bar is high.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will develop websites and online applications. These are often based on existing Content Management Systems such as Sitcecore or Umbraco. Your remit will include maintenance and updating of existing solutions.

You will work on projects as part of a multidisciplinary scrum team (scrum master, designers and other developers) to deliver spectacular solutions. For example the Red Dot Award-winning Vaarwater app. Despite the fact that your focus will be on writing server-side code, you are an all-rounder who knows your way around HTML, CSS and Javascript.

We are seeking some one with the following qualities

  • Experienced in Microsoft .NET, C# en MVC
  • Skilled in HTML, CSS, Javascript and XML
  • Knowledge of databaseservers and -design
  • Able to work with versioncontrol like GIT
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment is a pre
  • Willing to work with Sitecore or Umbraco
  • Good communication skills
  • Higher vocational or university education, or equivalent ability
  • Good command of the English (and/or Dutch) language, both written and oral
