What we believe At 29k we believe that individuals have the capacity to change the world for the better. And if we can unleash people's ability to live more meaningful lives they in turn will improve the world through their actions.
Who we are 29k is a non-profit founded by Norrsken Foundation and Ekskäret Foundation, with research partners at Karolinska and Harvard, tasked with building a free and open platform for personal development achieving transformational growth in millions of people. We have a 5-year goal of improving the lives of 5 million people, and a long term goal of reaching a threshold where we see systemic change in the world.
We are a small, close-knit team of skilled and dedicated people who truly believe the world can and needs to be changed for the better. Being part of our team means being self-directed, e.i. taking initiative and responsibility for one's work and the creative freedom it gives you.
As our CTO, your main responsibilities will include:
Who are you? You love solving complex problems through an action-based approach & love getting things done. You're not a lone-wolf-genius, instead you're passionate about involving others perspectives in finding solutions. You have spent a few years in a bigger company or been part of a growing start-up from the early days. We are a small team so hands on programming is something you would love as well as the more strategic work of the CTO-role. Preferably you have experience in building digital platforms and have gone through your own journey of personal growth.
